Introduction of Company

The founding of Nagaoka Corporation dates back to 1895 (Meiji 28). Over one hundred years through four generations of Meiji, Taisho, Showa, and Heisei, we have committed ourselves to manufacturing a variety of flavors and fragrances.

As a pioneer in the industry, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude to our clients and all concerned for their support and generous favor.

We have made our way through the post-war growth period as well as the subsequent period of economic stabilization, and today, amid chaotic circumstances, the versatility to see into and address various challenges with higher intelligence and precise judgment is absolutely necessary to our corporation.

Based on the fundamental mission of our company, "Become a corporation to contribute through fragrance and flavor", which is our corporate credo, we hold up some themes for each division to carry out their operation. We especially place focus on the themes of "technological innovation" and "globalization." We are making consistent efforts to improve our technology to meet customers' needs through basic research and development and testing of new products. At the same time, we try to respond sensitively to environmental changes in our lives, including food, clothing, and shelter as basic elements, all of which inspires us to further develop new products for the next generation. We will ever strive to make greater efforts to provide reliable products with international standards to customers around the world, embracing the mission offered to us, to always manufacture "safe and reliable" products, one of our most basic mottoes.
